Welcome to the perfect notification product for monitoring vacuum! Designed for monitoring negative pressure to notify personnel as soon as loss of vacuum begins to occur or increases. These simple vacuum monitoring solutions feature a flashing light (optional audible alarm) that’s designed to grab the attention anytime vacuum is rising too high or falling too low in a system.   Preventing & fixing issues before they cause significant downtime!

Presair’s vacuum alarm is available as field adjustable or factory set.

Built with a field adjustable vacuum switch, this model can be set directly by the user with a range of 0.25-300 inches of water. It can monitor vacuum rise or fall at a the user’s set point using the stack light to notify light only or light and audible alarm (90 DB).

Presair offers a factory set version with a smaller foot print than the adjustable vacuum monitor. If the negative pressure in your system drops below or above your specified vacuum, the stack light will notify using the light only or the light and audio.

How It Works

Presairs’ Vacuum Alarm is a perfect way to be alerted when vacuum rises or falls in your system.  By pairing a vacuum switch with a quick connect coupling, this allows for effortless setup. A magnetic stack light and/or alarm connected to the switch alerts personnel as soon as the airline drops below your specified inH2O. A protective switch boot keeps connections safe and damage free. Can I sense vacuum rise and fall in my system?

Our standard vacuum alarms currently do not have this capability. Although, it can be achieved by installing two vacuum monitors onto the air line, or customizing the switch to be a DPDT function vacuum switch. For more information, please  contact us with your application details.

How do I install a vacuum monitor?

It’s quite simple!

  1. Find location
  2. Adjust vacuum switch to desired set point
  3. Connect power

How do I adjust the vacuum switch?

How loud is the audio alarm?

Although we don’t have a specific measurement, the audio alarm can be heard throughout a factory warehouse to alert nearby personnel.

What is the fitting on the vacuum switch?

The vacuum switch has a 1/8” M-NPT. Other options available,  contact us.

What is the length of the power cable?

Both cables (power supply and switching supply) are three feet in length.
