Commonly found in our Magictrol Sequencing Air Switches, Solenoid is a type of electromagnet. Solenoid allows for us to generate a controlled magnetic field through a coil. When a wire is formed into a tightly wound coil, it is able to create a larger and stronger magnetic field.
Solenoid in Presair Magictrol Sequencing Air Switches
Solenoid is used in our Magictrol Sequencing Air Switches when the switch is located further than 15ft. away from the bellow. Presairs Magictrol with solenoid options have the save electrical specifications and sequences as our air actuated Magictrols.
Magictrol Description
The Magictrol Air Switch is used to sequentially switch up to four separate pieces of equipment. Each time an air pulse is applied, a stepping cam is rotated through three or four positions. This then actuates a combination of two or three micro switches.
