Presair manufactures adjustable pressure switches for field-set applications across a wide range of industries. These switches allow users to set pressure parameters directly to match specific system requirements. Designed and built to precise standards, they meet the needs of OEMs and instrument manufacturers requiring low-cost, stable performance with consistent repeat accuracy.
Adjustable pressure switches provide simple electrical on/off control based on system pressure. As pressure increases or decreases, one contact opens while the other closes, enabling accurate pressure monitoring and control. All models are field adjustable using the hex screw located at the center of the switch and can be factory preset upon request.
Dual-switch configurations are available, factory set to activate two separate microswitches at different pressure levels. Multiple body styles and air connection options are offered to support various installation requirements.
Presair standard pressure switches feature a ±10% dead band. Custom dead band tolerances are available for tighter or wider switching ranges.

Pressure switches are measured by inches of water, or PSI. Once the switch rises or falls the contacts will open and close based on the hysteresis, or deadband.

Pressure switches push against the diaphragm & plunger inside the switch versus a vacuum switch pulls the diaphragm away from the plunger inside the switch. Another way to think of vacuum switches is a negative pressure switch. Here’s an illustration to help!
